Fostering Excellence in Biostatistics Workshop
The Fostering Excellence in Biostatistics Workshop is a day-long workshop that has been held at the ENAR Spring Meeting since 1999. Its goal is to encourage more quantitatively skilled early-career scholars from broad-ranging backgrounds to pursue degrees in Biostatistics and foster their active participation and contributions to the field.

Early Career Workshop Series
ENAR is bringing back the Workshop for Junior Biostatisticians in Health Research in a new modern hybrid format titled the Early Career Workshop Series! We’re updating the program to have four tracks, covering Industry, Government, Academia Methodology Researcher, and Academia Team Scientist Collaborator. At the ENAR Spring Meeting, the first Early Career Workshop Series cohort will attend three workshop-specific sessions covering broad topics such as communicating your work and your value, developing and maintaining your network, and navigating a new environment with an early eye towards promotion and success

Johns Hopkins Biostatistics Department
Founded in 1918, Johns Hopkins Biostatistics is the oldest department of its kind in the world and has long been considered one of the best. With a rich history of outstanding contributions in both research and education, we are dedicated to: advancing statistical and data science; making discoveries to improve health by partnering with our colleagues in other science domains; and providing an innovative and outstanding biostatistics education for those seeking to be conversant with concepts as well as for users and experts in the application and development of new methodology.

Yale School of Public Health - Biostatistics Department
The Yale School of Public Health Biostatistics department develops quantitative methodologies and tools for rigorous scientific research to solve the world’s most challenging problems in biology, medicine and public health. Our view of biostatistics encompasses all aspects of the scientific method, from study design and data collection to computation, statistical analysis and interpretation and communication of findings.

Gold Level

UNC Chapel Hill – Department of Biostatistics
The Department of Biostatistics in the Gillings School of Global Public Health of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is consistently rated one of the top biostatistics programs in the country. The Department was established in 1949 with the goals to advance statistical science and, ultimately by its application, to improve human health. To achieve these goals, the Department of Biostatistics offers training and research programs to develop and apply innovative statistical methods to problems of human health and disease, including basic biomedical sciences. The Department’s mission is to forge dramatic advances in health science research that benefit human health in North Carolina, the US, and globally through the development of profound and paradigm-shifting innovations in biostatistical methodology and the thoughtful implementation of biostatistical practice to solve public health problems.

Bronze Level

Brown University, School of Public Health, Department of Biostatistics
The Department of Biostatistics, within the School of Public Health at Brown University, offers a PhD program in Biostatistics as well as residential and online ScM programs, and an undergraduate concentration. The department is the home of the Center for Biostatistics and Health Data Science at Brown University. The mission of the Department of Biostatistics is to generate new discoveries in theory and methods of statistics and data science, to provide statistical expertise and leadership and promote interdisciplinary research in domain areas related to human health and the life sciences, and to develop future researchers and professionals in the field of biostatistics.

The University of Pittsburgh, The Department of Biostatistics & Health Data Science
Established in 1949, the Department of Biostatistics, recently renamed Biostatistics and Health Data Science, was one of the original four departments of the School of Public Health. It consistently maintains its status as a top-tier biostatistics department across the nation and leads the way in data-driven science through innovative methodologies, interdisciplinary collaboration, and impactful education. The department educates the next generation of leaders in biostatistics and health data science, providing opportunities for close engagement with award-winning faculty and practical training across a diverse spectrum of research areas. It hosts vibrant MS and PhD programs in Biostatistics, presently accommodating approximately 40 PhD students and 35 MS students.
