Purpose: The Executive Committee implements policies of RECOM and is responsible for day-to-day operations of the Region. The Executive Committee meets at the ENAR Annual Meeting and the Joint Statistical Meetings, which ENAR co-sponsors, and may meet otherwise as needed to conduct ENAR business. The Executive Committee also normally communicates via e-mail and telephone throughout the year, as needed.
ENAR Regional Committee (RECOM)
Purpose: The Regional Committee shall be responsible for oversight of the affairs of the region. RECOM shall be convened at the annual Regional meeting and may be convened (possibly in conjunction with the Regional Advisory Board - Section 4.2) at any other meeting sponsored or co-sponsored by ENAR.
ENAR Regional Advisory Committee (RAB)
Purpose: RAB shall meet at the annual Regional Meeting and may be convened (possibly in conjunction with RECOM) at any other meeting sponsored or co-sponsored by ENAR. RAB shall advise RECOM on matters of policy, new initiatives, and on the appointment of committees.
Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Accessibility (IDEA) Committee
Purpose: The ENAR Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Accessibility (IDEA) Committee has a goal of increasing inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility within EANR in all aspects of the Society, including: the election and nominations process, the educational program for the ENAR Spring Meeting and WebENARs, in addition, the Committee is charged with setting IDEA goals for ENAR, and ensuring that the Society meets those goals.
A member of the IDEA Committee will also serve as the ENAR representative to the Societies Consortium on Sexual Harassment in STEMM and will be expected to attend the RAB meeting at the ENAR spring meeting and the RAB/RECOM meeting at JSM.
Purpose: The nominating committee is charged with preparing an annual slate of candidates to run for election for open ENAR offices. The committee should strive for a well-qualified slate that is appropriately experienced, as well as diverse with respect to research interests, workplace, gender and ethnicity. The Committee should seek nominees suggestions from RAB as well as the membership at large.
Purpose: The Program Committee helps to develop the scientific program for the ENAR Spring Meeting. Program Committee members are appointed by the President-Elect and serve a 1-year term. Members of the Program Committee are expected to help solicit submissions for invited and contributed sessions, and review invited sessions to help select those to be included in the program.
Educational Advisory Committee
Purpose: The Educational Advisory Committee works with the President-Elect to develop the educational program for the ENAR Spring Meeting. Educational Advisory Committee members are appointed by the President-Elect and serve a 1-year term. Members of the Educational Advisory Committee are expected to help solicit submissions educational activities and help select those that will be included in the program.
Purpose:The Sponsorship Committee works with the ENAR Executive Director to help identify donors and other supporters of ENAR. Members of the Sponsorship Committee are appointed by the President and serve 3 year terms.
Purpose: The members of the Social Media Committee will work closely with ENAR's management team at Virtual, Inc. and provide content that Virtual, Inc. will post. This will be a two-year term. Social media committee members are expected to attend the RAB meeting of the ENAR Spring Meeting and the RAB/RECOM meeting at JSM.

Purpose: This committee coordinates an ongoing series of 1- to 2-hour webinars given by renowned experts to promote continuing education for professional and student statisticians by disseminating cutting-edge knowledge to our membership.
Council of Emerging and New Statisticians (CENS)
Purpose: ENAR's Regional Advisory Board (RAB) formed the Council for Emerging and New Statisticians (CENS) in 2012 to help ENAR better address the needs of all students and recent graduates.
Objectives
International Biometric Society (IBS) Executive Board
Purpose: The International Biometric Society Executive Board receives input and direction from the Representative Council, committees and the general membership and used this information to govern and lead the Society. The Board reviews policies and procedures, interprets IBS goals and expectations and provides strategic direction to the professional staff at the IBS office to ensure members benefit from excellent program and service. International Biometric Society (IBS) Representative Council
Purpose: The International Biometric Society Representative Council is comprised of members from each of the Society’s Regions and supports the Executive Board by offering informed opinions and guidance.
Committee of Presidents of Statistical Societies (COPSS)
Purpose: The purpose of the Committee of Presidents of Statistical Societies (COPSS) is to work on shared problems and improve intersociety communication. Possible activities for COPSS include but are not limited to the coordination of the calendar of statistical meetings, the preparation of material to inform students about statistics when they are choosing a profession, the sponsoring of lecture series and prizes, and the production of statistical directories.
